Joseph A. Rotella M.D., D.C. is the founder and operator of Scottsdale Medical Center, a comprehensive facility offering Family Medicine and Chiropractic services in Scottsdale, Arizona. His special area of interest is in the integration of medical and chiropractic care for headache sufferers. Dr. Rotella received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Cleveland College of Chiropractic in Kansas City, MO and a Doctorate of Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean in St. Martin, Netherlands Antilles. After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Rotella relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona, where he completed his Residency in Family Medicine at the Heuser Family Medical Center at Scottsdale Healthcare.

Dr. Joseph Rotella, M.D., D.C., is the only dual-licensed family medical physician and chiropractor in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Whenever Dr. Rotella has any free time, he loves spending it with his daughter, often going horseback riding in the valley, and listening to country music. Working out and eating right is extremely important to Dr. Rotella, as he is, devoted to living a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Kelly R. Barker, D.O., brings to Scottsdale Medical Center a family-centered approach to physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Christina Summers, FNP-C, MSN, brings to Scottsdale Medical Center a personalized approach to every patient. She is Board Certified FNP for 5 years and has 5 years experience as an RN in ICU and telemetry. She obtained a B.S. degree in Nursing from Wright State University and M.S. degree in Nursing from University of Phoenix. Erica is a board certified physician assistant and has practiced in the field of family medicine for the past two years. Erica received her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the Northern Arizona University Phoenix Biomedical campus. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology at the University of Arizona in Tucson and is proud to be a Wildcat!
